Job summary

Snider Fleet Solutions is hiring a MOBILE Diesel and Heavy Duty Mechanic to service heavy‑duty trucks and trailers. You will perform preventive maintenance, DOT inspections, and complete all related paperwork. Role involves hands-on repairs but not heavy engine work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of diesel mechanic experience – required.
• Valid Class C Driver's License.
• Federal Annual and Brake Inspector certification required (within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance tasks along with documentation.
• Repair and maintain heavy duty trucks and trailers.
• PM Inspection, brake job, brake chamber and slack adjuster replacement, wheel seal replacement and wheel end adjustment.
• Examines all system parts for damage, wear, leaks, safety deficiencies; ensure timely DOT forms and work orders.
• Follow safety protocols and company policies.
