Job summary

Snider Fleet Solutions is seeking skilled Truck and Trailer Mechanics to join our team at multiple locations. You will perform preventive maintenance, DOT inspections, and related paperwork on heavy-duty trucks and trailers, with an emphasis on safety and efficiency.

This role does not involve heavy engine or transmission repair. We offer PTO, holidays, a 401(k) with company match, comprehensive health coverage, and opportunities for professional growth through our training program.

Qualifications

• Ability to read technical manuals and instructions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and customer service-oriented.
• Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance tasks along with documentation.
• Repair and maintain heavy duty trucks and trailers.
• PM inspection, brake repair, brake chamber and slack adjuster replacement, wheel seal replacement, and wheel end adjustment.
• Inspect for damage, wear, leaks and safety issues across trailers and trucks.
• Complete DOT forms and other documentation in a timely fashion.
• Fill out work orders with all required parts.
• Follow safety protocols and company policies.
