Rural King in Ocala, FL is seeking a Mobile Diesel Equipment Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel-powered equipment on customer sites. You’ll travel in a company-provided service truck to farms, businesses, and dealer locations to keep tractors, mowers, and other outdoor power equipment running.

Qualifications

• Proven experience diagnosing and repairing diesel-powered equipment.
• Ability to perform maintenance and warranty repairs on diesel engines and related systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and customer communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel throughout your assigned territory in a company-provided service truck
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain diesel-powered equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance and warranty repairs
• Repair diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, steering, drivetrain, and mechanical systems
• Use diagnostic software, scan tools, multimeters, service manuals, and schematics to identify equipment failures
• Complete electronic work orders, warranty documentation, and parts ordering
• Maintain service truck inventory and safely transport customer equipment
• Communicate repair recommendations and maintenance tips with customers
• Follow all safety procedures and participate in ongoing technical training
