Job summary

Adyen is seeking a Mobile DevOps Manager to guide the In‑Person‑Payments Tooling team in Chicago. You will lead a platform engineering group that developers rely on to manage the SDLC for our Android and iOS apps, collaborating with infrastructure teams to optimize Kubernetes-backed deployments.

You will drive an automation-first culture, shape the CI/CD roadmap, and ensure tooling health and security across the stack.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Technical Manager or Team Lead.
• Proven ability to coach engineers and grow team velocity.
• Strong analytical approach to infrastructure challenges.
• Familiarity with private cloud environments and IaC.
• Excellent cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead DevOps and Infra Engineers to design high-performance CI/CD pipelines.
• Define roadmap for automation, caching, and security scanning.
• Mentor engineers to adopt an automation-first mindset.
• Coordinate with mobile devs and infrastructure for tooling health and alerting.
• Champion quality and maintain CI/CD as first line of defense.
