Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Mobile Developer / MDM Engineer in Sterling, VA for a hybrid role with on-site two days per week. You will lead Intune administration, device provisioning, and endpoint management while collaborating with Agile teams to implement security solutions.

The role requires a B.S. in a related field and 2–5 years of experience in MDM and systems engineering, with strong experience in Azure security and Active Directory management.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in a related field plus 2–5 years in systems engineering/MDM engineering.
• Experience maintaining, monitoring, and configuring MDM systems.
• Azure-based security solutions experience including Azure Security Center & Azure Sentinel.
• Experience managing AD groups, DNS, and GPO.
• InTune AutoPilot administration for device provisioning.
• Windows Server administration and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of microservice architecture principles.
• Experience with unit and end-to-end test development.

Responsibilities

• Lead Microsoft Intune administration: policy creation, app deployment, device compliance, and conditional access.
• Leverage VS Code, Gitlab, and Atlassian tools for ticketing, development, and testing.
• Implement and manage Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune + SCCM) for endpoint management.
• Manage enrollment, policy deployment, compliance enforcement, and conditional access enterprise-wide.
• Administer InTune AutoPilot for modern device provisioning and deployment.
• Participate in daily scrums and code reviews.
• Use Azure Automation and Intune to secure cloud/on-prem Windows workstations and servers.
• Maintain Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and Windows 11 images in Azure and on-premises.

SAIC is currently seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Mobile Developer / MDM Engineer to join our team to continue an exciting and challenging career in Sterling, VA.

This position is hybrid and will require 2 days per week on-site in Sterling, VA.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead Microsoft Intune administration and engineering, including policy creation and management, application deployment, device compliance, and conditional access configurations.
• Use modern software engineering tools including VS Code, Gitlab, and Atlassian Suites for ticketing and documentation, development, and testing software.
• Implement and manage Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune + SCCM) for comprehensive endpoint management.
• Manage device enrollment, policy management, application deployment, compliance enforcement, and conditional access across the enterprise.
• Administer InTune AutoPilot for modern device provisioning and deployment.
• Participate in daily scrums and code reviews.
• Utilize Azure Automation and Intune to manage and secure cloud-based and on-premises Windows workstations and servers, ensuring they are patched to correct levels.
• Manage and maintain Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 systems and Windows 11 PC images in both Azure and on-premises environments.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

• B.S. degree and 2-5 years of relevant experience in systems engineering, administration, and MDM Engineering.
• Experience maintaining, monitoring, and configuring MDM systems.
• Experience in the design and implementation of Azure-based security solutions, including Azure Security Center and Azure Sentinel.
• Experience managing Active Directory Security Groups, Ous, DNS, and GPO.
• Experience in InTune AutoPilot administration for modern device provisioning and deployment.
• Windows Server administration and the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve system problems.
• Understanding of Micro Service Architecture.
• Unit Test and End-to-End test development.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Experience working on an agile team such as Scrum.
• Master’s degree in computer science or related field is a plus.
• Constructing and debugging CI/CD build Pipelines for mobile targets.
• Understanding how REST APIs work.

Customer Requirements

• Clearance – Ability to obtain and hold a public trust position and favorable suitability based on a CBP Background Investigation.
• Citizenship – Must be a US Citizen.
• Location – On-site in Sterling, VA - 2 days per week.

Target salary range: $60,001 - $100,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
