As a Mobile Device Engineer supporting CIS, you design, engineer, and implement secure enterprise mobile device solutions that enable the global workforce to operate safely across multiple networks and security domains. You ensure mobile platforms remain compliant, accredited, up-to-date, and integrated seamlessly into the broader Enterprise IT Infrastructure (EII). Your work directly supports mobility, security, mission responsiveness, and modernization efforts across the DoDIIS enterprise.
Engineer, design, and implement secure enterprise Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions for mobile phones, tablets, laptops, and other mobility devices
Ensure mobile platforms meet all cybersecurity, configuration, and compliance requirements across the DoW, and IC environments
Integrate mobile solutions with enterprise authentication, identity, security, monitoring, and network services
Test, validate, and document mobile device configurations, updates, and system changes prior to deployment
Troubleshoot and resolve advanced mobile device issues, including configuration, security control, certificate, and connectivity problems
Support modernization efforts by evaluating and engineering emerging mobile technologies and capabilities
Maintain security and compliance through patch deployment, vulnerability response, and ongoing monitoring of mobile device health and posture
Stay current with evolving mobile platforms, security requirements, and enterprise mobility best practices
The likely salary range for this position is $147,292 - $199,278. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation, but is based on experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
