Job summary

360care is seeking a Dental Assistant to visit long-term care facilities and support patients and physicians with dental care. You will maintain clinical records in EMR, assist with procedures, and ensure proper care and cleaning of dental equipment.

Responsibilities include assisting the dentist, managing patient flow, documenting conversations in EMR, and traveling to facilities up to 100% of the time. A high school diploma and healthcare experience are preferred, along with HIPAA compliance

Qualifications

• High School education or GED required.
• Experience as Medical or Dental Assistant preferred.
• Must have own reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Two-step TB skin test completed or willing to be tested.
• Hepatitis B and Flu vaccination preferred.
• State radiation license or certificate required.
• Good computer skills and medical terminology experience.
• Excellent communication skills and patient service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctor with patient care in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Maintain current and accurate clinical records in EMR.
• Clean and maintain dental equipment and treatment areas.
• Assist with patient transportation and facility clean-up as needed.
• Balance and generate daily production reports and provide to dentist.
• Post dental charges to the provider in a timely fashion.
• Travel up to 100% of the time to facilities.
