Job summary

Goodwill-Easter-Seals-Miami-Valley-3 is seeking a dedicated program assistant to supervise participants and support their day-to-day activities. The role focuses on safety, dignity, and promoting independent living skills, with involvement in recreational, social and therapeutic activities.

The candidate will help with planning and implementing activities, maintaining charts/logs, and assisting with transportation and meals as needed, while adhering to all agency policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow written instructions and safety guidelines.
• Ability to communicate effectively with participants, families and staff.
• Background checks and drug screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and assistance to program participants.
• Assist with daily living activities, transportation and meal planning as needed.
• Maintain safety, confidentiality and participant dignity at all times.
• Assist in planning recreational, social and therapeutic activities.
• Maintain attendance and participation records and assist with scheduling transportation.
