Job summary

Black Box Network Services is seeking a Project Safety Manager to lead EHS operations on high-stakes data center construction projects across the U.S. This onsite role demands decisive leadership, expert safety management, and the ability to mentor field teams toward a proactive safety culture.

Your responsibilities include directing inspections, audits, incident investigations, and continuous improvement, while coordinating Risk Mitigation and ensuring regulatory compliance across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational health & safety or related field.
• BCSP certification (CSP/ASP/CHST/OHST) is preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience in construction.
• OSHA 30 is required; OSHA 500/510 strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state and local EHS regulations.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Visio and digital reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all standards.
• Act as onsite authority for inspections, audits, toolbox talks, and risk mitigation.
• Lead and coach EHS Specialists and Safety Coordinators.
• Deliver onboarding, training, and safety coaching for field staff and subcontractors.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses (RCA).
• Manage EHS documentation, metrics, and reporting cadence.
