Job summary

Foodlink seeks a Curbside Market Operator to run our mobile market in Rochester, ensuring safe, timely, and efficient operations across sites. You will manage loading/unloading, drive the Curbside Market vehicle, provide excellent customer service, handle money in the POS, collect data, and supervise volunteers.

As part of the Community Health Programs, you’ll help deliver fresh, affordable foods to low-income communities year-round, adapting to varying conditions while representing Foodlink

Qualifications

• Customer service experience and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to record sales accurately in the POS system.
• Comfort handling money and basic data collection.
• Experience supervising volunteers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follows assigned route and schedule, driving trucks to each Curbside Market site on time.
• Responsible for recording all sales in the point-of-sale system.
• Keeps Curbside Market vehicles clean and organized.
• Loads and unloads Curbside Market vehicle at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Ensures safety of self, volunteers and customers by inspecting, cleaning and sanitizing vehicles.
