Job summary

Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Mobile Crisis Supervisor to lead the Mobile Crisis Response Team, coordinating clinical care and field operations. Under executive supervision, you will supervise staff, oversee training, timecards, evaluations, and quality improvement activities while promoting teamwork and patient flow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or RN license recognized by Iowa.
• 5+ years in mental health field.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Advanced computer experience.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participates in daily operations and performs Mobile Crisis duties alongside staff to ensure smooth workflow.
• Provides direct supervision to staff including training, orientation, and evaluations.
• Investigates and resolves patient and staff complaints within the unit.
• Monitors and promotes quality improvement activities in collaboration with leadership.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory and accreditation guidelines across the department.
• Coordinates with IT and other departments to support department systems and processes.
