Job summary

Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines, IA, is seeking a Supervisor for the Mobile Crisis Response Team. The role supports staff, coordinates operations, and partners with the Des Moines Police Department to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and policy development, with a focus on growth, accountability, and operational excellence within the MCRT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or current RN license recognized by the Iowa Board of Nursing.
• 5+ years of related experience in the mental health field.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Certification in RQI.
• Advanced computer experience; proficiency in Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Mobile Crisis staff, provide training and evaluations.
• Coordinate daily operations to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Investigate complaints and drive performance improvements.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments for system changes.
• Participate in interviewing, hiring, and personnel management.
• Maintain departmental policies and prepare meeting minutes.
