Job summary

Frontier Behavioral Health seeks a dedicated Peer Support Specialist to assist in stabilizing clients during crisis, drawing on lived experience. You will provide supportive services, empower individuals, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan discharge and community reintegration.

Requirements include one year of recovery, WA Credential or Trainee pathway, a high school diploma, and a valid driver's license for travel among FBH sites and client homes.

Qualifications

• Must identify as having one or more years in recovery from a mental health condition, substance use disorder, or both.
• Must obtain WA Peer Support Credential or Trainee credential within 90 days of start date.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Unrestricted driver's license and reliable vehicle for work.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing treatment interventions during acute crisis.
• Provide ongoing peer support to clients across settings.
• Advocate for clients and connect them with community resources.
• Recordkeeping and documentation in a confidential manner.
• Travel to client sites and between FBH locations using vehicle.
