This entry-level role operates under supervision by licensed clinicians and focuses on recovery support, mentoring, and crisis de-escalation. The position offers part-time hours, competitive pay between $23 and $24.17 per hour, and benefits including medical, dental, vision coverage and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist certification or ability to obtain within timeframe.
• 80-hour Peer Support Learning or equivalent completed within 90 days of hire.
• Current behavioral intervention training within six months of hire.
• Lived experience of mental health/substance use disorder.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support under supervision in mobile crisis.
• Engage in mentoring and advocacy to assist recovery.
• Assist with crisis de-escalation and stabilization.
• Support linkage to healthcare resources and services.
