Job summary
Crestwood Behavioral Health is seeking a Mobile Response Peer Support Specialist to join our Mobile Response Team in California. This entry‑level role provides peer support under supervision and focuses on supporting individuals in mobile crisis to aid recovery from mental health or substance use disorders.
You will mentor, advocate for people in recovery, and help build relationships with individuals served across community settings.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma/GED.
- A mental health/SUD lived experience.
- Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist certification or ability to obtain after hire within an agreed upon time frame.
- 80-hour Peer Support Learning or equivalent – completed within 90 days of hire.
- Has current techniques of behavioral intervention training within six months of hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide peer support in mobile crisis under supervision by LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC.
- Mentor and advocate for people in recovery.
- Build relationships and engage individuals to support recovery from mental illness or substance use disorders.
