Job summary

Riverside Community Care in Milford, MA seeks a Peer Specialist for Mobile Crisis Intervention to support individuals in crisis and their families. You will use lived experience to provide recovery-focused information, psychoeducation, and connection to community resources.

In this role, you will coordinate follow-up services with families, assist in transitions from MCI to ongoing care, and contribute to a supportive, recovery-oriented team.

Qualifications

• Must be certified Peer Specialist or begin certification within 6–12 months.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Convey hope and provide psychoeducation, including information about recovery, rehabilitation, and crisis self-management.
• Assist in arranging the services to which the individual is being referred after the MCI intervention, and support their transition to follow-up services.
• Provide similar services in the MCI service and Adult CCS as staffing and time permit.
