Compass Health is seeking a Crisis Peer Counselor for Island County, in Oak Harbor, WA. The role uses your lived experience to support individuals in crisis and connect them with behavioral health services through the Mobile Crisis Outreach Team.

You will work on a multidisciplinary team, meet clients where they are, and help plan recovery goals while navigating resources like housing, treatment, and peer groups. The position offers extensive benefits and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifikationen

• Lived experience with behavioral health or substance use issues.
• Current WA Certified Peer Support Specialist or CPSS-T certification is required.
• Experience as a peer support professional is preferred.
• Must obtain Agency Affiliated Counselor status upon hire if not licensed.
• Valid WA driver's license, vehicle and insurance if applicable.

• Promote recovery, self-advocacy, and connection to supports.
• Collaborate with clients and care teams on recovery goals.
• Help clients access mental health and substance use resources.
• Advocate for client voice and respect their experience.
• Assist with monitoring, documentation, and goal setting with the team.
