Job summary

Compass Health is looking for a Crisis Peer Counselor to join our Mobile Crisis Outreach Team. This role requires drawing on personal experience to provide understanding and practical support to individuals in crisis.

As part of a dynamic team serving Vancouver communities, you will promote recovery, assist clients in accessing essential resources, and advocate for their needs through a strength-based, culturally responsive approach.

Qualifications

• Lived experience with a behavioral health or substance use diagnosis required.
• Experience as a peer support professional strongly preferred.
• Valid WA State driver's license, vehicle, and insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Offer peer support grounded in your lived experience.
• Promote recovery, self-advocacy, and community connection.
• Collaborate with clients on person-centered recovery goals.
• Support clients in accessing necessary resources.
• Advocate respecting client experience.
• Assist with documentation and treatment goal setting.
