Job summary

UnityPoint Health - Eyerly Ball is seeking compassionate, resilient individuals to join our Mobile Crisis Response Team. As a Mobile Crisis On-Call Counselor, you will provide on-site support and consultation to clients experiencing mental health crises in community or home settings.

This PRN, on-call role offers day shifts and weekends with base plus on-call pay, requiring travel within the assigned region and rapid crisis response capability.

Qualifications

• Education options include licensed mental health professional per Iowa Code 228.1, or a degree with related experience.
• Experience requirements vary by level and field in behavioral or mental health services.
• Must have a valid driver license and meet auto insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis response and intervention to clients in community or home settings where the crisis is occurring.
• Complete related data entry and documentation in accordance with agency policy.
• During an on-call shift, be available by telephone and respond to calls within a 1-hour physical response region while coordinating with the on-call partner.
