Job summary

Behavioral Health Connections, Inc. in Houston, TX seeks a dynamic Mobile Assessor for nights (Sunday-Thursday 7p-3:30a). You will perform mental health assessments for contracted ERs/hospitals, determine appropriate levels of care, and triage patients to services.

Join a dedicated team delivering crisis-responsive care. The role requires a nursing degree or MSW/related master’s degree, current state licensure (LPC/LMFT/LMSW/LCSW/RN), CPR if required, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing or Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field.
• Current license in state as LPC, LMFT, LMSW, LCSW, or RN.
• Current CPR if required by a customer hospital and a valid driver’s license.
• Internship plus experience providing therapy or counseling.
• Mobile assessment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Crisis Intervention for patients in emergencies.
• Mental health assessment and triage for appropriate level of care.
• Counseling and referral to services.
• Memorandum of Transfer documentation.
