Job summary

Pacific Clinics is seeking a mobile crisis clinician to provide de‑escalation, crisis intervention, and linkage to follow‑up services in Solano County. You will assess risk, support families, and coordinate with law enforcement and CSU/hospital partners to ensure client safety during crisis events.

The role requires shift-based work in a crisis setting, with on-call duties and certification in crisis intervention. A strong team approach and compassionate, strengths-based care are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with related experience (1 year).
• Speak/read/write another language may be required by some programs/areas.
• Pass an initial physical abilities test (PATS) and crisis intervention certification within 30 days and annually.

Responsibilities

• May support mental health crisis hotline by gathering information and providing crisis stabilization and resourcing.
• Participates in information gathering and decision making related to involuntary psychiatric holds (LPS).
• Provides direct billable mental health services and documents per MediCal regulations; meets productivity expectations.
• Engages families and natural supports with psychoeducation on de-escalation and safety planning.
• Facilitates transport of individuals on 5150 holds; supports handoffs to hospitals/CSU; accompanies client to facility.
