Job summary

Catholic Charities Serving Central Washington is seeking a Designated Crisis Responder to join the Mobile Crisis Intervention team. The role focuses on crisis outreach, evaluation, and intervention to stabilize individuals in the community with acute distress or mental health crises.

The position requires a Master’s degree in a related field and licensure eligibility in Washington, with 2+ years of clinical mental health experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, clinical psychology, or a related field leading to eligibility for clinical licensure.
• Minimum two years of mental health treatment experience under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Respond to crisis service requests and perform assessments.
• Triage calls, meet walk-ins, and coordinate with hospitals or stabilization units.
• Provide crisis intervention, intake assessments, and safety planning.
• Document progress and treatment goals in the patient’s voice.
• Collaborate with community resources and supervisee clinicians as needed.
