Job summary

MultiCare is seeking a PCS Co-Responder/Designated Crisis Responder to join the Mobile Outreach Crisis Team in Puyallup, WA. This role provides crisis intervention in the field, conducts evaluations, and links clients to ongoing mental health services under supervision.

The position requires a Master's degree in a behavioral health field and applicable WA credentials, a valid driver's license, and background clearance for facilities collaborating with detention centers.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related behavioral health field required.
• Must hold Washington State Mental Health Professional credentials as defined under HB 1724 (see above).

Responsibilities

• Provides crisis intervention services to individuals in their own homes, residential placements or other environments.
• Develops and communicates treatment and safety plans for individuals and their support networks.
• Provides coordinating function for the team, liaising between the mobile outreach team and the Behavioral Health Organization (BHO).
• Develops relationships with community resources to divert individuals in crisis from inpatient care.
• Collaborates with other BHO services and state agencies; testifies/advocates as needed.
• Provides testimony/advocacy with courts and other agencies as required.

Education

Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
