Job summary

Centerstone in Florida is seeking a Mobile Crisis Specialist to provide crisis response by face-to-face, phone, and telehealth. You will perform rapid assessments, develop safety plans, and link clients to appropriate services while documenting in accordance with standards.

Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to stabilize individuals in crisis, coordinate with first responders, and follow up to reduce future crises.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Four years of relevant experience may be substituted for bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Respond to behavioral health crisis calls in the community, by phone, or via telehealth.
• Conduct rapid, comprehensive assessments of individuals in crisis.
• Implement de-escalation strategies to stabilize individuals.
• Develop safety plans with individuals served and coordinate care referrals.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and first responders when needed.
• Complete documentation of assessments, interventions, and follow-ups.
