The role requires a degree in counselling, social work, or chemical dependency and active licensure or certification (LPC/LSW/LISW or equivalent).

Qualifications

• A degree in counselling, social work, or chemical dependency.
• State licensure or certification as a Mental Health Counsellor or equivalent (e.g., LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW, LCDC II/III, LICDC).
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience with a strong clinical background.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with diverse client populations.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients with behavioural health concerns.
• Provide individual and group counselling to clients, utilizing a strengths-based and person-centered approach.
