Job summary

DeCoach Recovery Centre in Dayton, OH is seeking a Behavioral Health Counselor for our Mobile Crisis team. This full-time professional role delivers crisis-responsive counseling, conducts assessments, and coordinates care for individuals facing behavioral health challenges in the Greene County area.

Qualifications

• A degree in counseling, social work, or chemical dependency.
• State licensure or certification as Mental Health Counselor or equivalent.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and provide client-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual and group counseling using strengths-based approaches.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and case managers.
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and supervision sessions.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress notes.
• Provide crisis intervention and coordinate with resources as needed.
