Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health field with 1 year of clinical experience.
• OR 4 years of clinical experience with chronically mentally ill persons.
• Experience in related behavioral health field.
• Commitment to cultural diversity and inclusion.
• Recovery-oriented approach and consumer participation in treatment planning.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices for mental health and co-occurring disorders.
• Experience in community-based mental health, substance abuse assessment, case management, and crisis resolution.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work with an interdisciplinary team.
• Independent, organized, and efficient work style.
• Strong ethics and professional boundaries.
• Valid driver’s license and driving permission.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessments to evaluate mental health and substance use in a culturally sensitive, recovery-oriented manner.
• Deliver a range of clinical services including outreach, assessment, treatment planning, referral, and case management.
• Maintain accurate clinical records including intakes, assessments, treatment plans, progress notes and discharge summaries.
