David Lawrence Centers For Behavioral Health in Naples, FL is seeking a Clinician for our Mobile Crisis Response Team (MRT) at the Master's level. This full-time role provides 24/7 crisis intervention in the community, collaborating with psychiatrists, nurses, and MRT staff to support clients and families.

The position requires a Master's degree, Florida driver's license, 2+ years' experience, and ability to travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Behavioral Health, Social Work, or related field.
• At least 2 years of related mental health crisis environment experience.
• Current Florida Driver's License.
• Ability to work across diverse populations and settings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and EMR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to crisis situations with risk assessments and safety planning.
• Provide clinical services for assessment, care, and treatment in varied settings.
• Travel between service sites, homes, and community locations as needed.
• Deliver crisis intervention counseling and connect clients to appropriate resources.

Salary: Starting at $60,000 (Ultimate Compensation based on experience, education, language skills and potential impact)

Job Summary: Our innovative Mobile Crisis Response Team at DLC rapidly responds 24/7 to requests for crisis interventions in the community. Referral sources include health care providers, family members, self-referral, law enforcement, and other community members. This is a fast-paced environment where Clinicians work collaboratively with Psychiatrists, Nurses, and MRT Client Care Specialists to meet the needs of Clients and families via a multi-disciplinary team approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responding to crisis situations, conducting risk assessments, triage duties and completing safety planning with individuals in crisis.
• Performing a range of clinical services related to the assessment/care/treatment of individuals experiencing crises, in the school, home, and community.
• Local travel including to/from:
  • ~ Multiple service sites, to the homes, or residences or persons served, and within the community.
  • ~ Homes and residences
  • ~ Additional community locations
• Providing comprehensive crisis intervention counseling services.
• Connecting individuals who need a more intensive level of Mental Health/Substance Use Disorder services to the appropriate resources within DLC and the community.
• Other duties as assigned by the ESAC/MRT Associate Director.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Behavioral Health, Social Work, Health Care Administration or related field = Required
• At least 2 years of experience in related environment (mental health, group homes, prison, detention centers, etc.) = Required
• Current and clear Florida Driver's License = Required
• Demonstrated expertise in the following = Required
  • ~ Working with and relating to a diversity of diverse cultural/social/economic backgrounds
  • ~ Program implementation skills
  • ~ Competency in age-related or specialty issues/developmental needs
  • ~ Assessment, diagnosis and treatment regarding severe and persistent mental illness and substance use disorders
• Ability to effectively utilize available resources to ensure a comprehensive, holistic and integrated treatment approach that supports evidence-based practices = Required
• Well-founded clinical and risk management skills = Required
• Flexibility, accessibility, working after hours, including some weekends, to ensure accountability and integrity = Required
• Exceptional skills in organization (time and information) and communication (written and verbal) = Required
• Microsoft Office 365 skills (Including Teams/Video Conferencing) and Electronic Medical Records experience = Strongly Preferred
• Staying compliant on all trainings and immunizations = Required
• Ability to pass Level II DCF Mental Health Fingerprinting (General Information can be found HERE ), Drug Screen and Local Criminal Check = Required

Physical Requirements: This position requires a mix of physical activities throughout the workday. Duties involve periods of standing, sitting, and walking, often across various areas of the site. The role also includes tasks that may require bending, reaching, and other physical movements. Candidates must be able to occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. A reasonable level of physical stamina and mobility is necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.
