The role emphasizes lived experience to help clients access services and resources with a focus on immediate, same-day outcomes. The position offers an hourly wage in the mid-range for startup crisis services, with language differential and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be Certified has a Peer Specialist or close to completing the certification process.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Lived experience with mental health condition, emotional distress or trauma.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, welcoming, and clean environment for clients and families.
• Provide trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, person-centered care.
• Participate in triage, screening and intake to ensure same-day access to services.
• Assist clients with identifying needs such as housing, insurance, food assistance, education, and career.
• Assist in family and peer support services through lived experience and hope.
• Provide advocacy, coaching, training and psychoeducation.
• Complete internal and external referrals based on individualized needs.
