Job summary

Trident Seafoods, North America’s largest seafood company, is seeking a Dock Worker Crane Operator for our Old Yard facility in Ballard, WA. You will operate mobile cranes and forklifts, support vessel and dock operations, and ensure safety and environmental compliance in a demanding waterfront environment.

The role requires 2+ years of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and certifications in crane operation and rigging.

Qualifications

HS diploma or GED required.
2+ years experience operating material handling equipment.
Valid driver's license required.
Forklift certification within 3 months of hire.
Mobile Crane Operator certification within 6 months of hire.
NCCCO Crane Operator certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Operate mobile cranes, forklifts, skiffs, and other equipment to load, unload, and stage cargo and materials.
Perform pre/post-operational inspections and report safety concerns.
Use rigging and hand signals for lifting operations.
Assist with vessel moorings, shore power, and gangway placement.
Support environmental compliance and spill prevention activities.
Maintain records and documentation for operations and maintenance.
