Job summary

Trident Seafoods Corporation in Seattle, WA is hiring a Dock Worker Crane Operator to support dock, vessel, yard, and facilities operations at the Old Yard facility in Ballard. You will operate mobile cranes, forklifts, skiffs, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and stage cargo, supplies, and equipment while ensuring safety and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of related experience operating material handling equipment (MHE) or similar equipment.
• Forklift certification within three (3) months of hire.
• Boating safety course within three (3) months of hire.
• Mobile Crane Operator certification within six (6) months of hire.
• Current NCCCO Crane Operator certification within six (6) months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operates mobile cranes to lift, position, load and transport cargo and equipment.
• Inspects cranes, rigging, forklifts, and equipment; reports safety concerns.
• Performs lifting using approved rigging practices and signals.
• Loads/unloads vessels, trucks, trailers, and storage areas with gear.
• Maintains records and adheres to safety and environmental requirements.
