Job summary

Exact Crane & Equipment Corp in Solon, OH is seeking an experienced crane technician to diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and DC electrical systems across our fleet. You will perform oil changes, filter replacements, and greasing while preparing parts for precise, durable fixes.

Reading schematics and using the diesel laptop provided, you’ll support boom work and address rotation bearings, sensors, swivels, and outriggers. Overtime and ongoing training are offered.

Picture this: It’s 7:00 a.m. at Exact Crane & Equipment. A crane rolls into one of our three drive-through bays. You review the work order—rotation bearing inspection and a sensor fault—then connect your company-issued diesel laptop. After confirming the diagnosis, you complete oil and filter changes, grease every critical point, and line up the parts for a clean, safe repair. By 4:30 p.m., another crane is back in service—because of your craftsmanship.

Core responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and DC electrical systems
  • Service cranes with oil changes, filter replacements, and correct greasing procedures
  • Execute boom work and address rotation bearings, sensors, swivels, and outriggers
  • Apply basic welding and fabrication to support durable, high-quality fixes
