Job summary

Barnhart Crane & Rigging is seeking a Mobile Crane & Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair a diverse fleet of heavy equipment in shop and field settings. You will diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems and travel occasionally to support field service, with standard hours Mon–Fri and flexibility based on project needs.

Qualifications

1–3+ years of diesel or heavy equipment mechanic experience.
Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Provide your own standard tools (specialty tools provided).
Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on diesel engines and equipment.
Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Operate in shop and field environments.
Travel occasionally to support field service.
