The Missouri Department of Corrections is seeking a Correctional Officer assigned to the Mobile Custody Team. The official domicile will be the Farmington Correctional Center in Farmington, MO, with statewide travel to assist across Missouri facilities as approved.

Retention of staff, shift differentials, and overtime align with departmental policy. Candidates must be prepared to travel, undergo background checks, and complete required training.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Background investigation clearance.
• Defensive Tactics and Standard First Aid/CPR training during Basic Training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain security in posts and supervise offender movement inside/outside the facility.
• Inspect health and safety hazards; prepare reports on violations or incidents.
• Perform other related work as assigned.
