The Missouri Department of Corrections is seeking a Correctional Officer assigned to the Mobile Custody Team with official domicile at the Farmington Correctional Center, Farmington, MO. The role requires statewide travel to assist with staffing needs and may include retention pay, shift differentials, and overtime per policy.
Officers will maintain security, supervise offenders, conduct inspections for safety hazards, and perform related duties as assigned.
The annual salary listed for this position includes the additional $0.75 per hour medium security differential ($1,560 annually) for all full-time positions domiciled in a medium-security institution.

This position will have an official domicile at the Farmington Correctional Center in Farmington, MO. However, this position will be required to travel to DAI facilities across the state of Missouri to assist with staffing needs as approved by the respective Deputy Division Director. This position is eligible for retention/longevity pay, shift differential and overtime pay in accordance with departmental policy D2-8.4 Compensatory Time and Office of Administration’s Division of Personnel Differential Pay Guidelines.
While on assignment, Mobile Custody Team Officers will be provided a state vehicle for transportation to and from the assisted facility, provided lodging while travelling and will be reimbursed for meals that are not provided by the institution or hotel. Mobile Custody Team Officers will be required to carpool in the state vehicle and may be required to reside with a roommate while travelling.

The Department of Corrections currently offers a guaranteed 1% pay increase for every two years of continuous service up to 20 years! If you are transferring from another State of Missouri agency and are receiving state retention pay, please be advised that the Missouri Department of Corrections administers retention based upon your retention anniversary date. As a result, your retention pay upon transfer may differ from what you were receiving at your previous agency until you reach your applicable retention anniversary date.
