Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in reading and interpreting drawings and prints.
• Ability to build and assemble wood or metal forms for concrete structures.
• Familiarity with reinforcing steel installation and related safety practices.
• Experience erecting scaffolding and ladders for elevated work.
• Strong attention to safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand drawings and prints.
• Build and assemble forms for concrete floors, slabs, walls, columns, and structures.
• Set and place forms to proper elevations and locations; assist with reinforcing steel.
• Set and erect forms using various materials and forming systems, primarily symon forms.
• Verify accuracy of structures using plumb bob, carpenter level, laser or transit.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for work above ground level.
• Communicate with Foreman, Riding Boss, or Project Manager regarding problems, materials, or safety hazards.
• Ensure equipment is in safe operating condition.
• Assist with placement of concrete as needed; perform other duties as assigned.
