Responsibilities

• Read and understand drawings and prints.
• Build and assemble wood or metal forms for concrete floors, slabs, walls, columns, and more.
• Set forms to elevations and locations; may aid in placing reinforcing steel.
• Set and erect forms using various materials and forming systems, primarily symon forms.
• Verify accuracy of structures using plumb bob, carpenter's level, laser, or transit.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for work above ground level.
• Communicate with Foreman, Riding Boss, or Project Manager regarding problems and materials or safety hazards.
• Ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
• Assist with placement of concrete as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
