Job summary

B&B Concrete in Oklahoma City seeks a Commercial Concrete Carpenter to read drawings, build and place wooden or metal forms for floors, slabs and walls, and assist with concrete placement. You will verify elevations and help set forms for structural elements as part of the project team.

Responsibilities include erecting formwork, checking alignment with level and plumb, coordinating with the foreman on material needs, and maintaining safety practices and equipment readiness on site.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand drawings and prints.
• Build and/or assemble wood or metal forms for concrete structures.
• Set forms to elevations and locations, assist with reinforcing steel.
• Set and erect forms using diverse forming systems, primarily symon forms.
• Verify accuracy with plumb bob, level, laser or transit.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for above-ground work.
• Communicate with Foreman, Riding Boss or PM about problems, materials, or safety hazards.
• Ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
• Assist with placement of concrete as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Maintain formwork and equipment in safe condition.
• May assist concrete deliverer during pours.
• Follow safety policies and guidelines on-site.
• Perform other assigned duties.
