Job summary

Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is seeking a Lighting Technician to perform interior and exterior commercial lighting repairs, maintenance, and upgrades. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of recent commercial lighting or electrical experience and can work independently or with a team.

Company vehicles and gas cards are provided, with routes that may start from home or a regional shop. Overtime and occasional weekend work are available, and strong English communication skills are

Qualifications

• Three or more years of commercial experience as a Lighting Technician or Electrician.
• Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and motor vehicle record (MVR) check.
• Overtime availability including weekends.
• Proficient in English and able to complete reports via email or written communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics on commercial electrical and lighting components.
• Troubleshoot, upgrade, and repair egress and emergency lighting systems.
• Replace lighting tubes, bulbs, LEDs, and other components in various fixtures.
• Work with Title 24 lighting systems.
• Operate company vehicle following guidelines and safety policies.
• Read and work from blueprints, sketches, and schematic drawings.
• Submit service paperwork and reports per department standards.
• Support departmental operations with additional duties as needed.
