Job summary

Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. seeks a Lighting Technician to perform interior and exterior commercial lighting repairs, maintenance and upgrades across California. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of relevant experience and a valid driver’s license.

Technicians are provided with a company vehicle and gas card, with flexibility to start service routes from home or a regional shop location. Schedule is Monday–Friday with occasional weekends and overtime.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recent commercial lighting or electrical experience
• Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and MVR check
• Available for overtime including weekends and flexible scheduling

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics on commercial electrical and lighting components
• Troubleshoot, upgrade, and repair egress and emergency lighting systems
• Replace lighting tubes, bulbs, LEDs and other components in interior and exterior fixtures
• Work with Title 24 lighting systems
• Provide professional customer service regarding lighting repairs
• Operate company vehicle per guidelines
• Read and work from blueprints, sketches, and schematics
• Complete service paperwork and reports per department standards
• Support departmental operations with additional duties as assigned
