Job summary

Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is seeking a Lighting Technician to perform interior and exterior commercial lighting repairs, maintenance, and upgrades in California. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of relevant experience and can work independently or with a team.

A company vehicle and gas card are provided, with routes starting from home or a regional shop. The position requires Monday–Friday scheduling with occasional weekends and overtime.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of recent commercial experience as Electrician/Lighting Technician/Maintenance Technician.
• Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and MVR check.
• Available to work overtime including occasional weekend shifts.
• Proficient in English communication and written reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics on commercial electrical and lighting components.
• Troubleshoot, upgrade, and repair egress and emergency lighting systems.
• Remove and replace lighting tubes, bulbs, LEDs, and other components in various interior/exterior fixtures.
• Work with Title 24 lighting systems.
