Job summary

Reliable Electric and Lighting Inc. is seeking a Commercial Lighting Technician to perform interior and exterior retrofit installations at commercial and retail locations.

You will replace lamps and fixtures, install LED systems, and ensure compliance with project specs and safety standards. The role requires working from ladders, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and other elevated platforms, with travel to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior commercial lighting, electrical, construction, maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience with commercial lighting retrofit work strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with LED lighting systems and common commercial components preferred.
• Ability to work at heights and safely from ladders, scissor lifts, and aerial lifts.
• Must be able to travel to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform commercial and retail lighting retrofit installations.
• Remove and replace lamps, ballasts, drivers, fixtures, and related components.
• Install LED lamps, retrofit kits, fixtures, drivers, sensors, and lighting controls.
• Upgrade interior and exterior lighting in line with project specifications.
• Follow project drawings and safety procedures; operate lifts safely.
