Job summary

Nextech is seeking a Commercial Kitchen Equipment Technician in Amarillo, TX to diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of commercial kitchen equipment. You’ll work independently with strong team support and handle on-site and on-call service to ensure client satisfaction.

Earn up to $40/hr with sign-on bonuses, a company vehicle, and paid training. Daily dispatch from home, tool allowance, and comprehensive benefits help you thrive and grow professionally.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Industry certifications (a plus).
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage your day effectively.
• Overtime and on-call rotations may be required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Positive attitude, high energy, and a commitment to craftsmanship.
• Ability to handle physical demands and field conditions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial kitchen equipment.
• Install and service refrigeration units.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults.
• Document work orders with company IPad.
• Coordinate with dispatch and manage daily schedules.
• Participate in rotating on-call shifts for emergency service.
• Maintain tools and company vehicle to high standards.
• Attend ongoing training to stay current with industry advances.
