Job summary

The role requires CMA or RMA credentials, hospital-sponsored certification within six months, and CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days. Expect to travel between network clinics as scheduled.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).
• Certification through hospital-sponsored program expected within six months of hire.
• Strong knowledge of medical office operations such as scheduling, billing/coding, and medical records.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician in delivering primary health care and patient care management.
• Support front office and clinical areas; handle various medical office tasks.
• Assist with nursing care as directed and venipuncture when trained or certified.
• Travel between Iredell Physician Network clinics as needed based on schedule.
• Maintain full access to patient health information as part of the clinical team.
