Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of related experience in medical assisting.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with 1+ year experience preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates clinical competence in direct patient care and assists MDs with procedures.
• Performs duties within department standards and policies.
• Directs patients to exam rooms promptly and supports care coordination.
• Prepares e-prescriptions and processes specimens for lab transport.
• Maintains instruments/equipment per manufacturers' guidelines.
