Job summary

Dignity Health Medical Foundation, Grass Valley, CA, seeks a Mobile Medical Assistant to provide high-quality clinical care in a mobile setting and manage the Mobile Health Clinic operations.

The MMA will prep patients, obtain vitals, document in the EHR, and oversee vehicle safety and setup. 8–10 hour shifts, strong interpersonal skills, and CPT/ICD familiarity are essential for delivering pediatric and adult care in the community.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• CA Driver's License required.
• Minimum 6 months outpatient EMR experience; Cerner preferred.
• BLS/CPR and First Aid certified on hire.
• Experience driving/maintaining large vehicles (Class A RVs preferred).

Responsibilities

• Register and schedule patients in EHR; document care.
• Prep patients for exams and record vital signs.
• Administer medications per physician order; document care.
• Maintain a clean, safe clinical environment and assist with patient flow.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist pediatric patients as needed.
• Transport the mobile clinic to sites and set up/teardown.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
