Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical support to providers, patients and staff to expedite patient flow.
• Greet and register patients using the appropriate software system.
• Explain payment policy and insurance coverage prior to registration and collect insurance information.
• Schedule patient appointments and transcribe orders.
• Handle billing, collections and patient account communication.
• Prepare and maintain records for daily logs, charges and deposits.
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-service testing where applicable.
• Assist with examinations, minor procedures and room preparation.
