Job summary

Sarah Bush Lincoln is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support clinicians in the Charleston Walk-In Clinic. The role is part-time (20 hours/week) with shifts Monday through Friday, plus every other weekend, and involves clinical and clerical duties, data collection, and maintaining infection control standards.

The candidate must hold a High School diploma and be a CMA/RMA with BLS/CPR certification. The pay starts at $20.59/hour with a $1,500 sign-on bonus based on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• BLS or CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• CMA-Certified Medical Assistant credential for Sarah Bush Lincoln.
• Registered Medical Assistant—American Registry of Medical Assistants.

Responsibilities

• Administers medication as directed by the provider.
• Assists providers with patient exams, treatments and procedures.
• Performs clerical duties and data entry related to patient records.
• Maintains infection control practices and clean exam rooms.
• Schedules patient visits and relays information between providers and patients.
