Job summary

McCarthy Stone is seeking a Mobile Care Assistant to join our caring team. This field-based role covers Epping and surrounding areas, requiring travel between developments with a valid UK driving license and mileage reimbursement at 43p per mile.

The role offers an hourly rate of £14.50, with extra 30p per hour for evenings and a 25-hour week. We provide full training, a pension, life insurance, and generous holiday entitlement. We welcome compassionate individuals ready to make a difference.

Qualifications

• Experience in a care environment is preferred but full training is provided.
• Strong interpersonal skills, empathy and good time management are essential.
• Domestic or housekeeping experience is welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised care, including help with daily activities, personal hygiene, and medication assistance.
• Maintain communal areas to a high standard and assist with household tasks.
• Support homeowners with social activities, transport, and appointments to enhance wellbeing.
