Job summary

McCarthy & Stone is seeking Mobile Domestic Assistants to join our care team serving Chester and surrounding areas. This mobile, field-based role involves domestic services and lifestyle support across developments, with travel between sites and mileage paid at 43p per mile.

Hourly rate is £12.85, up to 30 hours per week, on a rota including mornings, evenings, weekends, and some bank holidays. We provide full training, no sponsorship, and opportunities for progression to senior care roles.

Qualifications

• Experience in domestic/housekeeping is helpful but training is provided.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and empathy.
• Field-based role requiring travel between developments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain communal areas to a high standard and assist with domestic tasks (cleaning, shopping, laundry).
• Provide social support, accompany homeowners to appointments, and assist with daily activities.
